About Me
My Childhood
As a child I was always interested in spirituality. I read the Bible, and spoke to my grandparents about religion, even though my parents didn’t go to church. I would go to different churches with friends and tried to find a connection with God there. Thanks to my parents and moving to different places, I was widely exposed to all types of religion – Buddhist philosophies, Islam, Bahaism – which made me realize as a child that not everyone viewed the world the same way.
As a child, I was overly sensitive to others moods, and especially their pain. This over-empathy to people and animals often caused me a lot of emotional pain as a young child. However, as I grew up, I channeled my sensitivity into the arts, particularly writing, music and singing.
In high school, I was in alot of singing groups, and was singing pretty much every day. I would spontaneously connect with the Higher Realms when I was singing, but I didn’t consciously know what was happening. Since I didn’t know how to ground myself, I mostly got freaked out so I just shut it down.
Along I had some positive experiences, I found that organized religion often delivered hypocrisy and judgement, which left me with a distrust and mostly wholesale rejection of organized religion. Even though I stopped trying to find a church in which to express my spiritual self, my yearning for spiritual connection and fascination with religions continued.
My parents were avid nature lovers, and I was always encouraged to love nature and appreciate how amazing the natural world was. My love of nature continues to be strong and is inextricably linked to my love of the Divine. Nature has always replenished me, and I have always been able to most clearly connect, first unconsciously, and now consciously, with the Divine in nature.
I have always been interested in religions and spirituality and continue to read extensively about them. I have taken many religion courses, and I still love reading about spirituality and religion.
My career choices often went against the core of my being. I mostly developed my analytical and logical side, to the exclusion of all else. Unfortunately, my spiritual side was suppressed for many years. While I couldn’t see how my career benefitted my spiritual path, of course I have learned many lessons particularly about the unofficial and official uses of power, and ego.
I learned shamanic skills, as part of a shamanic drumming circle, in the style of Michael Harner. Since shamanism is nature-based and complements existing personal spiritual or religious beliefs, it was the perfect fit at the time for my personal ideology. I learned a lot from this circle, and benefitted greatly from learning from the others in the group, and performing journeys for others.
This experience helped open up my spiritual side, that I had long pushed aside. However, when the group ended, I stopped practicing and mostly neglected that part of myself. Although I occasionally continued to do journeys for myself, I no longer did them for others.
After the birth of my children, I started to spontaneously open more and more to spontaneous spiritual experiences in a natural and organic way. More and more information started coming through spontaneously, including past life information. Dreams and energy work helped in receiving these messages. I opened up again to connecting with the Divine.
In July 2009, I started doing journeys for others again, first practicing on friends. When I started doing journeys for strangers and the information was spot-on, I gained more confidence. I got more readings as a result of word of mouth, and I kept doing more and more journeys with very positive results. My abilities kept expanding, and keep expanding the more journeys and writing that I do. This has opened up a new world for me that I would have never considered before.
I have discovered to my delight, that I can now combine my analytical skills and love of information and research, with my naturally intuitive and emotional nature. This benefits me in all I do, including reading for clients, and in my writing.
Now
I am very happy, as I feel deep in my bones, this is part of my life plan and purpose.
I believe that the highest good any person can achieve is by being fully themselves to the highest degree possible. I believe that if a person uses her or his talents as fully and authentically as possible, s/he is honoring the Divine in the highest and most honorable way. By being ourselves, and serving others with those talents, we fulfill the reason we were put on Earth.
My greatest fulfillment is seeing others become more authentically themselves.
I love introducing others to their power animals and guides, and to the existence of an alternate reality. It is deeply fulfilling to help others connect with their Higher Selves, their power animals and guides, and see this empower them.
I enjoy writing this blog where I share what I learn about using intuition, and following synchronicities, signs and symbols in the Universe.
My articles focus on how we can improve ourselves, and live in alignment with our most authentic selves, and fully live of our life’s purpose.”
The Universe has the best sense of humour, and my life is so much more full and fun because of the eternal clues I’m given every day.
I am grateful for the many amazing people I have met, and continue to meet, as a result of journeying and writing this blog.
I believe that…
- Everyone has some kind of intuitive/psychic ability, it is just more developed in some than others.
- The Divine/Source/God/Goddess/Spirit all describe the same thing – this connotes the remarkable consciousness that rules all Life.
- The more one connects with their power animals, their intuition and their authentic selves, the more one can become in tune with their life’s purpose.
- Signs in Nature are God’s most easily accessible way of speaking directly with us.
Thanks for visiting this blog!
